วันนี้เราจะมาเรียนรู้สำนวนที่มีคำศัพท์ขนมหวาน อาหารหวานต่างๆ เช่น เค้ก ลูกอม เป็นต้น อยู่ในสำนวนกัน

| a piece of cake | ง่ายเหมือนปอกกล้วยเข้าปาก เช่น My interview was great and so easy. It was a piece of cake. |
| as easy as pie | ง่ายเหมือนปอกกล้วยเข้าปาก เช่น That test wasn’t difficult at all. It was as easy as pie. |
| like giving candy to a baby | เวลาที่คุณทำสิ่งไม่ถูกต้องได้อย่างง่ายดาย เช่น Lying to the teacher was like giving candy to a baby. He accepted my lie easily. |
| a fruitcake | บ้ามากๆ เช่น That old lady really thinks a mouse is her son. She’s a fruitcake. |
| going bananas | บ้าหรือเพี้ยนไปชั่วขณะ เช่น I have so much work to do today, I think I’m going bananas. |
| nut / nutty | คนตลกบ๊อง เช่น My uncle is so funny when he visits. He’s really nutty. |
| a tough cookie | คนใจแข็ง เช่น The soldier didn’t cry when his friend died. He’s a tough cookie. |
| sugar and spice | คนที่น่ารัก ใจดี เป็นกุลสตรี เช่น That sweet little girl is full of sugar and spice. |
