Reflexive Pronouns หรือสรรพนามสะท้อนตัวเอง คือ คำดังต่อไปนี้
myself, yourself, herself, himself, itself, ourselves, yourselves, themselves
Reflexive Pronouns จะถูกใช้เมื่อประธานและกรรมในประโยคเป็นคนคนเดียวกัน หรือสิ่งของสิ่งเดียวกัน
ยกตัวอย่าง เช่น
– I hit myself with a hammer.
– Potter hit himself with a hammer.
แต่เมื่อใดที่ประธานและกรรมเป็นคนละคนกัน หรือไม่ใช่สิ่งเดี่ยวกัน ให้ใช้สรรพนามตามเดิม ดังตารางข้างล่างนี้
