วันนี้เราจะมาเรียนรู้สำนวนภาษาอังกฤษ (Idioms) ที่ขึ้นต้นด้วย Hang หรืออาจเรียกว่ากริยาวลี (Phrasal Verbs) คือ วลีที่ประกอบด้วยคำกริยาและคำอื่น ซึ่งเมื่อรวมกันแล้วจะให้ความหมายที่แตกต่างไปจากเดิม

| hang out | ใช้เวลากับบางสิ่งบางอย่าง | Do you want to hang out tonight? I just hung out at home all weekend. I didn’t do anything special. |
| hang around | ใช้เวลาอยู่ตรงนี้ แถวๆ นี้ | Who’s that kid hanging around the elevator? Are you going to leave, or are you going to hang around a bit more? |
| hang in | สู้ต่อไป ไม่ยอมแพ้ พยายามเข้า | Don’t give up! Hang in there This is a close game. The Blue Jays are really hanging in there. |
| hang on someone’s every word | สนใจ หรือตั้งใจฟังในคำพูดของคนนั้น | She hangs on every word he says. |
