Reported Speech คือ? [ภาษาอังกฤษ]

Reported Speech คือ คำพูดของคนอื่นที่เรานำมารายงานให้คนอื่นฟังอีกที ยกตัวอย่างเช่น

Harry บอกว่า “I love Susan.” ถ้ามีคนอื่นมาถามเราว่า Harry พูดว่าอย่างไร เราก็สามารถรายงานคำพูด Harry ได้ว่า “He said he loved Susan.”

จะสังเกตได้ไวยากรณ์ของประโยคเปลี่ยนไป คือ คำกริยา Love เป็น loved ดังนั้นจึงมีกฎเกี่ยวกับ Reported Speech ดังต่อไปนี้

Tense ผู้พูด		Tense ผู้รายงาน
present simple	I like pizza.	past simple	What did she say? She said she liked pizza.
past simple	I went to New York City.	past perfect	What did he say? He said he had gone to New York City.
present continuous	I am taking an English class.	past continuous	What did he say? He said he was taking an English class.
present perfect	I have been to California.	past perfect	What did she say? She said she had been to California.
past perfect	I had talked to my neighbor.	ไม่เปลี่ยน	What did she say? He said he had talked to his neighbor.
future tense	I will buy a new house.	แสดงในรูปประโยคเงื่อนไข	What did she say? She said she would buy a new house.
